You've touched on more than one question there. Hearing from God, what does being a minister mean, calling/career stuff.

Think hard about it and figure out what you are really asking.

If it's really a question about hearing from God, then figure that out (am I hearing from God or not) and then do what he says, regardless of the consequences.

If its about what does a minister mean ("I get a lot of satisfaction when I am with the youth of the church"), then I have a lot to say about that, but for now, simply, there is nothing in the Bible that implies you have to leave your job to do that. In fact, I think quite the opposite and I believe strongly that for the church to survive, men and women have to start to understand that they can and should minister very effectively all the while maintaining a normal job. Your job probably has no bearing on whether you can to be with the youth. Unfortunately, you may have the feeling that you want to be "the man" and you can't be in your church or another church without "being a minister, ordained, seminary" blah, blah, blah. Like I said, there is a ton more to say there, but since I'm not sure if that is really what you are asking, I'll spare you.

If it's about calling, feeling satisfied in your career (your undercover setting), then there are some simple things to do like career tests, personality tests and the like to help you figure that out. You might even find yourself going back to school to get to a place that makes you happy. In my opinion, God really wants us to be happy and he tells us that through our likes, gifts, personalities. Find the place that matches that and usually you'll be happy.
